From now until Jun 29th at the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles, CA, an exhibit called LEGO MEMORIES (Or A Man-Child's Recollection of the 80's Through Lego) will be on display. The artist responsible for this work in this show is Dan Shearn. The work itself consists of prints depicting different 80's era pop icons as Lego MiniFigures. Simply put, these pieces are stunning!
With nearly 70 different illustrations, he has captured a whole swath of 80's pop culture, from movies and TV to comic books and music. Each one depicts the person or character perfectly by using their most iconic looks. I have selected just a few of the many awesome prints to display here.
